SAO PAULO, July 16, 2008 (AFP) - A 14-year-old Brazilian boy has confessed to killing 11 people this year under the orders of drug traffickers, police in southeastern Brazil said.

The teenager, whose name was withheld, said the victims owed money to the traffickers, according to police in Serra, a city in the state of Espirito Santo.

Police commissioner Danilo Bahiense told reporters he was 'surprised by the coldness of the young man in describing his actions.'

Police arrested two other minors who, along with the confessed assassin, formed a gang accused of committing robberies.
