Football governing body FIFA said Thursday the debt problems of English Premier League clubs would be discussed at the body's next executive committee meeting in mid-March. "We have an executive committee meeting on March 18. That's definitely something that will be discussed, also potentially that will be discussed before with (UEFA boss) Michel Platini," FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke said.

US automaker General Motors said their agreement with Tiger Woods that allowed the embattled golf star to have use of its cars for free has ended. World Anti-Doping Agency chiefs offered their condolences Tuesday following the death of Jacques de Ceaurriz, a leading light in the fight against doping in sport. The head of the Chatenay-Malabry laboratory near Paris, De Ceaurriz's death at the age of 60 on Tuesday was announced by France's national anti-doping agency, the AFLD.
